I hope all who see this blog are able to experience God's love through the stories and things I post. It is my prayer that my life would be a witness to others of who God is - through the ups and the downs. And may we learn to do authentic, Christian community together by sharing how Christ exists in the reality of our lives. Know that God loves you today and considers you as precious! Blessings!!

Sleep is an important part of health and, believe it or not, weight loss! Getting adequate sleep helps maintain appropriate levels of hunger hormone. A lack of sleep will cause you to eat more, to store more fat in your body instead of using it for daily energy, and will not allow your body to heal the muscles you used in your previous day's workout.
Of course, the solution to this isn't stopping your morning trips to the Y but ... yeah, you guessed it, going to bed on time!
